FCCLA hosted a meeting August 15th in order to kick off the 2019-2020 chapter. The meeting was titled "FCCLA has S'more Fun" where they hosted an information session on
upcoming events and announced the theme of "Adventure," encouraging students to "join the adventure and join FCCLA."
President, Hannah Horton, notes that the meeting "was an enormous success," emphasizing that "a lot of students attended and seemed very eager about the theme, upcoming events and fundraisers." Before the attendees enjoyed their breakfast snack of S'more dip, compliments of the officers, they gathered in groups to play a game named "Concentration" where
students test their quick thinking and concentration skills.
The first FCCLA event that officers will partake in includes a cohesion with FFA as they present at Farm City Day, an event for educating county wide third graders on the impact and importance of Agriculture.
